Nestled along the pristine shores of Pelican Lake, this Minnesota retreat reimagines lakeside living as a year-round sanctuary.
Drawing inspiration from its natural surroundings, the design creates a seamless dialogue between interior warmth and
the majestic landscape of towering pines.
At the heart of the home, the kitchen stands as an architectural homage to its environment, featuring cabinetry in a sophisticated forest green that echoes the evergreen canopy beyond. Rich hardwood floors and exposed wooden ceiling beams create an enveloping warmth, their honey-toned patina offering a counterpoint to Minnesota's winter chill. The thoughtful material palette transforms
this gathering space into an intimate haven where wilderness meets refined comfort.
Each design element has been carefully curated to celebrate the lake's natural beauty while creating a timeless refuge that feels both grounded and elevated. This is more than a seasonal escape—it's a lasting testimony to mindful design that honors its remarkable setting.

WAYZATA HOUSE, MN
Our latest new construction project was a comprehensive journey right from the beginning. We actively participated in every planning stage, enhancing the interior layout, specifying all finishes, and meticulously crafting the design for each interior space.
The primary objective was to create a modern home with a touch of tradition. Our homeowner, a highly skilled craftsman,
held a strong preference for a clean, uncomplicated style, and we wholeheartedly embraced his taste and design choices.
EDINA HOUSE, MN
A remarkable transformation took place when we embarked on the massive main level remodel of this home, breathing new life into it’s already set mid-century charm.
By modifying exterior walls and vaulting the ceilings, we created an expansive, open space that harmonized with the home's original aesthetic. Enveloped in a carefully chosen color palette and warm, textured woods, the space radiates a sense of welcoming warmth. It's a seamless blend of contemporary style and mid-century inspired character, where every element contributes to the home's newfound vitality and the preservation of its timeless appeal.
PILLSBURY AVENUE, MN
Oh, the rooflines! We were like design detectives, working closely with an engineer and the contractor to unlock the potential of the third floor with its mansard rooflines on all four sides.
Our homeowner, deeply entrenched in the world of fashion throughout her career, envisioned her new pied-à-terre as a canvas for her art collection and her love for color. So, we wholeheartedly embraced her vision and created a home “in the sky” for her and her loving husband.
